Formerly known as Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 or its trade name Argireline™, this neurotransmitter-inhibiting peptide has water-binding and skin-restoring properties shown to boost collagen production and draw moisture into the skin. Derived from hydroquinone, Alpha Arbutin is the synthetic sibling of plant-derived Arbutin (also known as beta-arbutin). Alpha Arbutin is more stable and estimated to be be 10 times stronger than beta-arbutin. It is a powerful skin-brightening, skin-protectant and anti-inflammatory that works by inhibiting tyrosinase production (a melanin producing enzyme) within the skin. Arbutin naturally breaks down into hydroquinone on the skin, making it a gentle yet effective option compared to other brighteners.

Coconut caprylate/caprate is a mixture of esters sourced from coconut-derived fatty alcohols (non-drying), together with caprylic and capric acids, both also derived from coconuts. Recognizable by it’s vibrant blue color, the copper-binding peptide GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper complex of tripeptide, first isolated from human plasma in 1973.
