    Description

Formerly known as Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 or its trade name Argireline™, this neurotransmitter-inhibiting peptide has water-binding and skin-restoring properties shown to boost collagen production and draw moisture into the skin. It works within the skin’s surface layers to inhibit repeated muscle movements that are responsible for wrinkles and expression lines, giving it its “topical botox” reputation. While its efficacy doesn’t replace in-office injectable procedures, studies have shown this peptide can penetrate deeper into the skin and deliver visible efficacy level in a convenient non-invasive format.

Alpha Arbutin is more stable and estimated to be be 10 times stronger than beta-arbutin. It is a powerful skin-brightening, skin-protectant and anti-inflammatory that works by inhibiting tyrosinase production (a melanin producing enzyme) within the skin. Arbutin naturally breaks down into hydroquinone on the skin, making it a gentle yet effective option compared to other brighteners.
